Armin Buescher is an R&D leader at RSAC focused on practical applications of large language models in cybersecurity. His work centers on designing evaluations, stress-testing limitations, advising companies on AI programs, and building prototypes. With 15+ years across the cybersecurity stack, from malware analysis to cloud security, he began building ML detection systems at Symantec/Norton and advanced AI techniques through recent LLM breakthroughs. At Crosspoint Labs, Armin contributed across the PE value chain through due diligence, leadership partnerships, and AI support systems. Earlier R&D roles at FireEye, Blue Coat, and Websense led to patents and zero-day disclosures. A regular conference speaker and media spokesperson, he holds an MSc in Computer Science from TU Dortmund.
