OWASP Contributor Workshop

Date:
6 March
Time: 08:30 - 14:00
Venue: Rebel

The OWASP Contributor Workshop is a hands-on, community-focused session designed to help attendees understand how OWASP projects work and how to get involved.

Led by OWASP Project Leaders and experienced contributors, this workshop offers a practical introduction to contributing to open-source security tools, documentation, and standards.

Participants will learn how OWASP projects are organized, explore different contribution pathways, and collaborate directly with the people building and maintaining projects used by security practitioners worldwide. Whether you’re new to OWASP, an experienced contributor, or simply curious about open-source security, this workshop provides a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and start contributing. No prior OWASP experience is required... just bring your curiosity and interest in building secure software together.
